Charlene founded The Atlanta Spiritualist Association, Church in 1994. The Church presented sermons, meditation, messages lectures, and spiritual healing weekly. 1994-2002

Helped launch the first pre-paid "Psychic Calling Card" in the world at the Intele Convention in January of 1999 for Precom Corporation. One lady whose franchises where in Australia liked her reading with Charlene so much she purchased $50,000 in cards for her stores.

Rev. Charlene Hicks an internationally known Astrologer and Psychic Medium who has been heard live on more than 242 radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. She is certified as an Astrologer, Hypnotist and Psychic Medium and has been practicing professionally for the past twenty-seven years. She received her Mediumship training at Camp Chesterfield in Indiana the second oldest Spiritualist Association in the U.S. which was founded in 1886. From 1987-1997 she received all four certifications and completed full ordination under The Indiana Association of Spiritualists, Church. She has also trained at the Arthur Finlay College in Physical Phenomena Mediumship in Stansted, England.

Over the past eighteen years, Rev. Hicks has worked with various police departments and the GBI on missing and murder cases. She has helped locate a man who had been missing in Lake Spivey and  in 1989, she accurately described the location of Julie Love’s body and when it would be found. She aided radio announcer, Barry Mac Kinnon of CBCJ Radio station in Nova Scotia in 94’ when a drive by shooting at the local Mac Donald’s occurred. Barry stated: “Four teenagers where shot in the head for $250.” “What can you tell us about the killer?” Charlene replied over the phone: “One teenager is still alive, she has blonde hair pulled back in a pony tail.” “She will be in a coma for three months and will live to describe the killer.” “She maybe in a wheel chair the rest of her life but all are not dead.” Two hours later Barry called back to report than there indeed was one teenager who was still alive. She had blonde hair in a pony tail and was rushed to the hospital. The shot to her head did permanent damage and she was in a coma for three months but came to and was able to identify the killer. Rev. Hicks has appeared in numerous publications and has been a columnist for Southern Flair magazine for the past twelve years. She was featured in “The Ghosts of Dunwoody” in the October 2001 issue of Points North magazine where she describes the former residents of the haunted house.
 
In the beginning of 2004, Rev. Hicks presented her “Messages from Spirit” to an audience of 350 at The Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and has continued her nationwide tour. She has just released her first CD entitled: “Why is Your Birthday the Most Important Day of the Year?” From Cape Town to Cape Breton, Rev. Hicks travels, lectures and consults worldwide spreading the philosophy, science and religion of Spiritualism.
